The Raven ZZ plant, Zamioculcas zamiifolia 'Raven', is a black ZZ plant with nearly black foliage; new growth emerges bright lime green and darkens as it matures. Jiffy Plants offers it as a single shoot or a bushy plant in a 2.5 to 5 inch pot. Its thick, potato-like rhizomes store water, so the seller advises watering only after the soil dries out completely, roughly every two to four weeks in the growing season. It tolerates low light but grows best in medium to bright indirect light, and prefers a fast-draining mix and 18 to 24°C.
